Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting young learners as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. Engage with PreK-3 students, collaborating closely with educators and families. You’ll provide essential psychological services, foster positive learning environments, and help shape student success through your expertise and compassion.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist Licensure in Massachusetts
- Massachusetts Teaching Certificate
- Demonstrated experience working with young children (PreK–Grade 3)
- Comprehensive understanding of psychological evaluation tools and best practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to ethical, student-centered professional standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret findings for individualized instructional planning
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to facilitate proactive problem-solving
- Deliver targeted interventions, crisis response, and counseling services as needed
- Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social/emotional needs
- Contribute actively to multidisciplinary team meetings and planning
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state educational policies
This contract spans from August 2026 through June 2027, Monday–Friday, with a full-time 40-hour workweek, serving a vibrant and diverse student population near Cambridge, MA. Compensation ranges from $50–$60 per hour, with weekly pay that lets you manage your finances with confidence.
