Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Product Engineering role focused on Parts and Progressive Stamping, located in Attleboro, MA. The Product Engineer will develop and optimize stamped parts and tooling designs, ensuring manufacturability, quality, and cost-effectiveness for clad and specialty metal products. Daily responsibilities include analyzing product requirements, creating and updating engineering documentation, collaborating with production and tooling teams, and troubleshooting issues on the manufacturing floor. The role involves coordinating with sales, quality, and supply chain to support new product introductions, process improvements, and customer-specific solutions. The Product Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, data-driven decision-making, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

- Strong Product Engineering skills related to metal forming, parts design, and progressive stamping processes.
- Robust Analytical Skills for data analysis, problem-solving, and process optimization.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Relevant Software Development or software proficiency skills (e.g., CAD, CAM, engineering analysis tools) to support design and process modeling.
- Project Management skills to plan, execute, and track engineering projects, including new product launches and process improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in metal stamping, metals manufacturing, or precision components production is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with quality systems, root cause analysis methods, and continuous improvement tools (such as Lean or Six Sigma).

Education and Experience:
\n

- BSME/MSME and 3 to 5 years related experience is required
- Experience with high volume progressive die stamping and part production processes is a must.
- Knowledge of common metal processing and manufacturing techniques such as welding, soldering, brazing, plating is preferred.
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks or similar design software is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of strip metal processing and material science is beneficial.
- Demonstrate the ability to solve very complex product quality and process problems.
- Good business knowledge and the ability to understand and improve product quality and manufacturing costs.
- Excellent written and verbal skills are required.
- Demonstrate the ability to work in and manage multiple tasks in a highly diverse and dynamic manufacturing environment.
