OUR MISSION

To transform cognitive care by building a trusted, scalable system that combines world-class clinics, technology-driven care navigation, and compassionate support for patients and their caregivers. We aim to deliver measurable human outcomes, ensuring every patient receives the care they need, when they need it, with dignity and trust.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're seeking a Nurse Practitioner with experience in neurology, dementia care, or related fields who is passionate about improving quality of life for patients and caregivers.

In this role, you will be a frontline provider of dementia-focused care at our Danvers clinic and through telemedicine visits. You'll conduct cognitive and functional assessments, develop care plans tailored to the unique challenges of dementia, monitor disease progression, and provide compassionate education and support to patients and their families.

This is an opportunity to practice at the leading edge of dementia-focused care in a program designed exclusively for this patient population. You'll play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their care journey, ensuring they receive empathetic, evidence-based, and coordinated care. You'll also support the full clinical organization with clinical escalations as they arise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals with cognitive impairment, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and other memory-related conditions (in-person and via telehealth)
  • Conduct comprehensive cognitive assessments, review medical history, labs, imaging, and medications
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and care plans in collaboration with neurologists and interdisciplinary team members
  • Support patients and caregivers in understanding diagnoses, treatment options, and disease progression
  • Serve as a point of escalation for clinical issues within the practice
  • Maintain accurate, compliant documentation within the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Stay current with clinical guidelines and best practices in neurology and dementia care

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) & Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
  • License: Active, unencumbered state license in Massachusetts
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in neurology or dementia-focused practice required
  • Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Passion for advancing dementia care and supporting both patients and caregivers

BENEFITS

  • 4.5 weeks of PTO in addition to holidays and floating holidays
  • Mindspan-funded health benefits (medical, dental, vision) - starting at zero cost to you
  • One Medical membership and Teladoc virtual care
  • Therapy on your time with a free year of Talkspace membership
  • Competitive Paid Parental Leave for parents

ABOUT OUR TEAM

Mindspan was founded in 2024 by a team of healthcare veterans, founding multiple companies from whiteboard to exit. Our team is committed to bringing together people from different backgrounds and perspectives to deliver real outcomes to our patients.

OUR VALUES

Our patients are our purpose: We understand that the decisions we make have an impact on our patients' health. We are a healthcare company above all else. The choices we make are always in the best interest of our patients.

Bring your best self: The authenticity of our team drives our innovation. We show up for each other and our patients every day. Your teammates will count on you for motivation and support, and you should expect the same in return. Conversely, recognize when you are not at your best so you can seek support and take time to recharge.

Own your ideas and your results: Each member of the team contributes to the growth of Mindspan. Identify problems, seek solutions that maximize impact. Ownership is key; seek out support from team members, and take accountability for the results of your efforts.

Move fast, but with purpose: Consistent, rapid growth is expected. Set goals, work with purpose, assess, reassess, and pivot when necessary. Perfection should not impede progress. Ego should not prevent reevaluation. Each day will provide opportunities for learning and growth and will move us closer to our goals.

Good ideas come from anywhere: Ideas, good and bad, come from every level of the organization. Employees at all levels are empowered to share their ideas and feedback. The whole of Mindspan is greater than the sum of its parts. All ideas are considered, and when a decision is made we will move forward together.

A background check consisting of employment history, professional references, criminal check and educational verification (i.e., degree, license, and/or official transcript) will be conducted. All applicants will be required to pass the background check to the satisfaction of Mindspan.

Mindspan is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace, providing equal employment and advancement opportunities to all team members. We are building an environment where every Mindspan team member can thrive, feel a sense of belonging, and do the best work of their careers.
