The ServiceNow Architect will work closely with government stakeholders to ensure that the ServiceNow solutions meet business objectives and drive process improvements. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Public Sector Digital Services (PSDS), Customer Service Management (CSM), HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and related ServiceNow modules, possess deep subject matter expertise related to ServiceNow platform, and have experience supporting government clients within HHS, CMS, DOD, and other federal agencies.
This position will be on-site in Boston, Massachusetts.
As a ServiceNow Architect at ServBeyond Solutions, you will be instrumental in delivering ServiceNow solutions and guiding clients through complex implementations. You will work with project teams, ensuring timely delivery while meeting client expectations. Your responsibilities include:
- Lead architectural discussions and solution design of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, PSDS, SPM, and others as required, ensuring the ServiceNow platform meets scalability, reliability, and performance standards.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders and Clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions, ensuring alignment between ServiceNow capabilities and business requirements.
- Ensuring technical deliverables are complete, consistent, high-quality, on time, and deliver valued outcomes.
- Worked with Cloud architect and served as the primary technical resource responsible for the ServiceNow platform's architecture, design, and integration.
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, including platform governance, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with developers and system administrators to deliver scalable and reliable ServiceNow configurations and customizations.
- Lead efforts tooptimize the performance and functionality of ServiceNow through monitoring, maintenance, and tuning.
- Provide technical leadership for complex ServiceNow implementations, including data migration, workflow automation, and portal development.
Qualifications
ServiceNow Expertise:
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in a ServiceNow Architect role across various modules, especially CSM, ITSM, and PSDS.
- Proven experience in leading full life cycle ServiceNow implementations.
- Familiarity with Performance Analytics, Service Portal,Automated Testing Framewor,k and Flow Designer within ServiceNow.
- Understanding of multiple cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and
GCP
Certifications (Required/Preferred):
Required:
- System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Delivery Accreditation Public Sector Digital Services
- Required ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) with the following:
- CIS Customer Service Management
- CIS IT Service Management
Any 2 ServiceNow Implementation Specialist (CIS) Certifications
from the following:
- CIS Discovery
- CIS Service Mapping
- CIS - SPM
- CIS- IT Operations Management
- CIS Software Asset Management
- CIS Hardware Asset Management
Preferred:
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
- ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA)
- Three (3) ServiceNow Micro-Certifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in technical fields such as System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 8+ years of incremental technical experience in technical roles (senior developer, lead developer, architect) delivering solutions in client environments.
Advanced Development Skills:
- Expertise in ServiceNow Development APIs for building custom solutions.
- Proficiency with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript, and AngularJS) and workflow automation.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management practices.
- Expertise across advanced ServiceNow applications such as HRSD, ITOM, CMDB, CSM, Security, ITAM (HAM/SAM), SPM, GRC, and Portal/UI Builder.
- ITIL Foundation or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience with data integrations using REST, SOAP, and other API methods.
- Familiarity with database design and optimization within the ServiceNow environment.
- Strong understanding of the ServiceNow architecture, including system performance, scaling, and security.
Other Skills:
- Comfortable presenting to large audiences, including senior leadership, government clients, and stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to design scalable and effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, balancing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills is essential.
Salary Information
The salary range for theServiceNow Architect position is competitive and commensurate with experience, between $140,000 to $177,000 annually. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.
