Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing onsite physical therapy services in a specialized school environment. This role supports a small caseload of three students, helping them achieve their goals in a school dedicated to serving deaf and hard-of-hearing children. Your expertise as a physical therapist will make a significant impact, replacing virtual PT services for families seeking an in-person solution.

Enjoy flexibility with your schedule—work two days a week (about 1.5 hours per day), choosing the days and times that fit best for you. The position begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year, offering the unique experience of collaborating in a supportive educational setting.

Qualifications or Desired Experience:

  • Licensed or certified Physical Therapist with experience in school-based therapy
  • Comfortable and willing to work in a school for deaf and hard-of-hearing students
  • Previous exposure to pediatric or school-based caseloads preferred
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability within a team-oriented setting
  • Commitment to individualized, student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite physical therapy to three students, following IEP goals and recommendations
  • Collaborate with staff, teachers, and families to best support students’ physical development and mobility
  • Document session outcomes and progress in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
  • Adapt therapy plans as needed to ensure student engagement and progress
  • Uphold a safe, respectful environment conducive to learning and growth

This is an excellent chance to bring your clinical talents to a community that deeply values onsite, personalized support. Flexible scheduling makes it a perfect fit for professionals seeking work-life balance with meaningful impact.

Apply now to make a difference in these students’ educational journeys while enjoying a role that respects your time and expertise!

Compensation for this position ranges from $36.67 to $66.67. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
