Job Description
As a Quality Inspector, you will inspect cable and wire harness assemblies to ensure compliance with IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 standards. You will perform visual inspections and use precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Additionally, you will conduct First Article Inspections and document results accurately, review incoming materials, and approve or reject them based on specifications. You will maintain detailed inspection records and quality documentation, identify nonconforming materials, and coordinate rework or corrective actions. Communication of quality issues to production supervisors and quality management will be key. You will interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and design specifications, support ISO 9001 and ISO quality system requirements, and assist with general manufacturing or quality-related tasks as needed.
Responsibilities

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Solid communication skills for collaborating with production, engineering, and quality teams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or basic quality control methods.
- Competence with computers and quality-tracking systems such as ERP, MES, or QMS tools.
- Effective problem-solving skills to support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norwood, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
