Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity near Cambridge, MA is ideal for a compassionate professional experienced in educational assessment, student counseling, and collaboration with educators and families.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certification and/or state licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience administering educational and psychological assessments
  • Strong understanding of IEP/504 processes and special education law
  • Effective communicator with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Skilled in crisis intervention and behavioral management strategies
  • Previous work in school settings preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and interpret results for eligibility meetings
  • Provide direct and consultative psychological services to students, including social-emotional and behavioral support
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, administrators, and parents to develop strategies for student success
  • Support interventions and monitoring for students with IEPs and 504 plans
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, including eligibility determination and re-evaluation
  • Deliver crisis support as needed and contribute to school-wide positive behavior initiatives
