The Position: The Master Scheduler is responsible for owning, developing and executing a 12-month rolling capacity plan and detailed weekly/monthly production schedules to meet manufacturing cost and business supply objectives. They ensure accurate run scheduling, data integrity, and production order management within the internal system. The role requires cross-functional coordination and communication with supply planning, procurement, warehouse, commercialization and production teams to align priorities and maintain a responsive production plan. The role also tracks and reports on key scheduling KPIs and leads regular planning and forecasting meetings to support business continuity and efficiency.

The Location: White River Junction, VT; onsite daily.
The Pay: $54,900 to $74,200 annual salary; commensurate with experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Create a balanced 12 month rolling capacity model and execute plan at the monthly and weekly schedule for manufacturing facility to achieve cost and supply targets

Manage and maintain weekly and monthly production plan based on orders and raw and packed inventory availability and production availability.

Maintains run scheduling and data integrity and production order management in KAB systems

Responsible for coordination of production plan alignment with cross-departmental priorities that overlap with manufacturing availability

Serves as primary point of contact and collaborate with supply planning and procurement team on production scheduling priorities

Reports on daily, weekly, monthly scheduling KPIs.

Leads planning meetings with production, warehouse, purchasing, supply planning.

Participate in periodic forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and other related departments
Experience and Education

3–5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management within a food manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and scheduling tools.

Experience with data-driven decision-making.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence: Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders across departments including production, procurement, warehouse, sales, and marketing. Facilitates alignment of competing priorities through effective communication and shared planning goals.
Problem Solving & Agility: Responds quickly to unforeseen challenges such as supply shortages, capacity constraints, or order changes. Uses structured problem-solving techniques and sound judgment to adjust plans and mitigate risks without compromising key targets.
Clear & Proactive Communication: Effectively conveys scheduling updates, changes, and production needs across teams. Leads planning and forecasting meetings with confidence, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned on scheduling goals and adjustments.
