Role Overview
As a Wealth Advisor with a specialty in Fixed Income Strategy, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing fixed income investment solutions that align with our clients’ financial goals. You’ll combine deep market knowledge with a client-first approach to craft strategies that deliver both stability and growth. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on clients’ lives while advancing your career in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Works closely with the Executive Management Team and Senior Wealth Officer to support the Bank’s investment portfolio with research, reporting and investment strategy.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5-10 years of experience working in a detail-oriented environment in a bank or related company position of similar duties and responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree (work towards CFA designation or already have obtained)
- An understanding of general economic principles and their impact in our economy today.
- An understanding of the function and mechanics of the various U.S. securities markets.
- An understanding of accounting principles and their implementation in the annual reports of various companies as well as other financial reports.
- An understanding of the various theories of portfolio management and tailoring these theories to meet specific client objectives.
- Understanding of trust and tax law a plus.
- Experience to include trust account servicing, asset management, fiduciary regulations and laws, sales and negotiation skills.
- Skills in common courtesy, communications, mathematics, organization, personal computers, planning and problem resolution.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record, as well as a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
