Caseload to be determined
Onsite only
1-4 school locations
Hours will vary - Rough schedule 7:30-3:30

Job duties: conducting psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, behavioral characteristics, and emotional health. Providing individual counseling, collaborating with teachers and parents, developing intervention plans for students with special needs, and supporting overall student mental health within the school setting

Key Responsibilities:

Assessments & Evaluations:

Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify students' learning disabilities, behavioral issues, or emotional challenges.
Interpret test results and provide recommendations for interventions and accommodations.
Intervention & Counseling:

Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing academic, social, or emotional difficulties.
Develop and implement behavior intervention plans.
Support crisis intervention efforts, including suicide prevention and conflict resolution.
Collaboration & Consultation:

Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies that support student success.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist in developing 504 plans.
Offer guidance on classroom management techniques and strategies to address student behavior.
Prevention & Training:

Implement programs focused on social-emotional learning, bullying prevention, and mental health awareness.
Conduct workshops for school staff and parents on topics such as stress management, effective communication, and special education laws.
Data & Compliance:

Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding student mental health and special education services.
Qualifications & Skills:

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
Strong understanding of psychological testing, assessment tools, and behavioral intervention techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented school environment.

Pay Rate: $52-56an hour
