Keep a fast-moving manufacturing environment powered, safe, and compliant while partnering with mechanics, supervisors, vendors, and contractors.
Compensation: $38.00–$48.47 per hour
Core responsibilities
- Diagnose machinery issues; coordinate remedies with mechanics and supervisors.
- Ensure NEC code adherence and reinforce plant safety protocols.
- Apply knowledge of complex manufacturing processes (preferred).
- Mentor teammates of varying skill levels; promote knowledge sharing.
- Maintain strong working relationships across maintenance, contractors, and vendors.
- Support advanced motion/control systems: servo motors, amplifiers, controllers.
- Identify and correct faults in electrical components and systems facility-wide.
- Install/bend conduit; size conductors and conduit per distance and FLA; perform terminations.
- Work confidently with 24V–480V power.
- Install, maintain, and repair low- and high-voltage systems for facilities and grounds.
- Interpret electrical schematics accurately.
- Troubleshoot motors, motor controls, and device control circuits.
- Repair sensors and solid-state equipment.
- Source parts/materials using OEM manuals and prints.
- Communicate effectively in writing and speech.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or 5+ years of related experience/training; or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
