OAKLEY COUNTRY CLUB: OUR MISSION

Oakley Country Club was initially established in 1895 with the vision of becoming the go-to place for outdoor sports and friendly gatherings. Since becoming incorporated in 1898, we have grown into an exceptional venue that thrives on fun, creativity, and member satisfaction. For over 120 years, we've remained committed to our original mission while expanding our offerings and improving the member experience. As a job seeker, you'll enjoy working in a beautiful environment where your contributions are acknowledged and your talents are valued. YOUR SCHEDULE

As our seasonal Director of Aquatics, you can expect to work at least 40 hours per week, ensuring our pool runs smoothly and safely. With day and evening shifts as needed, you'll have variety in your schedule. The pool is open seven days a week (weather permitting), so flexibility is key! Plus, you'll have a two-week shoulder season in spring and fall to help prep and close the facility, giving you the perfect mix of action and planning time.

YOUR DAY AS OUR SEASONAL DIRECTOR OF AQUATICS

As you step onto the pool deck, the morning sun reflects off the water, and you take a deep breath-another day of creating safe, fun, and memorable experiences begins. You check in with your lifeguards, ensuring they're prepped and motivated for the day. You manage schedules, coordinate swim lessons, and interact with members, always making them feel welcome and heard. You're constantly on the lookout, ensuring safety procedures are followed and stepping in when needed to coach, guide, and encourage your team. Between planning exciting pool events, overseeing maintenance, and handling administrative duties, every day is fun and refreshing.
