Job DescriptionJob Overview: Pay Range: $27hr - $32hr
Responsibilities:
- Execute marketing campaigns for office events and initiatives in collaboration with supervisors and unit heads.
- Coordinate communication and ensure smooth information flow across multiple internal teams.
- Draft, edit, and manage content for email newsletters, websites, print materials, and social media platforms.
- Maintain accurate and consistent information across communication channels, including calendars, websites, social media, and promotional materials.
- Design, edit, and manage graphics and video content using Canva and established style guides.
- Update and maintain department website content using content management platforms.
- Utilize project management tools to coordinate tasks and team communication.
- Monitor communication platform performance and provide data analysis and reporting insights.
- Support the creation of statistical reports, dashboards, and basic infographics.
- Stay updated on communication best practices through training and institutional resources.
- Participate in regular team meetings and marketing planning sessions.
- Collaborate with student assistants and cross-functional teams as needed.
- Assist in organizing and supporting office events, workshops, and departmental activities.
- Perform additional administrative and operational support tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of office experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in writing, editing, or design.
- Strong proficiency in content creation, proofreading, and editing.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools and social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Familiarity with project management tools and workflow coordination.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in marketing and branding campaigns.
- Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
- Basic knowledge of HTML and content management systems.
- Experience with email marketing tools.
- Experience in photography and videography using DSLR cameras.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and generating insights.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and workflow management skills.
