Senior Property Manager
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Location: In Person
Compensation: $105,00 - $115,000 per year
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential communities. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational performance, financial results, regulatory compliance, and team development while supporting the Regional Director.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily operations across assigned properties
• Lead and support on-site staff, including payroll review and performance management
• Manage rent collections, delinquencies, evictions, and financial reporting
• Create annual budget and monitor expenses to ensure budget compliance
• Prepare properties for audits, inspections, and owner visits
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, LIHTC, Section 8, and Public Housing regulations
• Oversee leasing, marketing efforts, and occupancy goals
• Resolve resident concerns and maintain positive stakeholder relationships
• Respond to major property emergencies as required
Qualifications
• 2–3+ years of experience as a Senior Property Manager
• 5+ years of experience at the Property Manager level
• Strong experience with LIHTC, Section 8, and Public Housing programs required
• Knowledge of landlord-tenant law and affordable housing compliance
• Strong financial reporting and budgeting experience
• Proven leadership and team development skills
