Adhesive Filling Technician - Cartridge & Syringe Packaging
Job Description
Job DescriptionAbout Meridian Adhesives Group
Meridian Adhesives Group is a fast-growing, global provider of adhesive technologies serving electronics, industrial, and infrastructure markets. Since 2018, strategic acquisitions have fueled our expansion, positioning us as a trusted partner to OEMs, distributors, and industrial clients worldwide.
Day in the Life
As an Adhesive Filling Technician, you’ll be the steady hand behind every precisely filled cartridge and syringe. Your day starts by setting up equipment, reviewing fill tickets, and preparing materials. You’ll mix, weigh, and, when required, heat product to spec, then operate Tridak and other cartridge filling machines—or hand fill—while keeping a close eye on in‑process quality. When the line needs attention, you’ll troubleshoot, perform routine inspections, and complete preventive maintenance. You’ll also help with cycle counts and request raw materials or non‑inventory supplies to keep production flowing.
What You’ll Do
- Follow ISO procedures, safety rules, PPE requirements, and SDS guidance at all times.
- Execute fills based on official fill tickets with accuracy and completeness.
- Submit requisitions for raw materials and any required non‑inventory items.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts to support material accuracy.
- Weigh and, when needed, heat materials to specified parameters.
- Operate Tridak and other cartridge filling machines; hand fill syringes/cartridges as needed.
- Perform in‑process quality checks and record results.
- Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment to maximize uptime.
- Carry out additional related tasks as assigned.
What Helps You Succeed
- Clear communicator and collaborative teammate across functions and with external partners.
- Comfort taking direction while also showing initiative and sound judgment.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.
- Meticulous, organized, and precise—strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Extended periods of both standing and sitting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Compensation, Schedule, and Bonus
- Schedule: 1st shift, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday–Friday.
- Pay: $19.51–$23.85 per hour. Actual pay is determined by factors such as relevant experience/skills, tenure in role, business line, and location.
- Bonus Pay: Meridian is participating in a 2025 productivity incentive plan. Eligible employees may earn up to $1,520 annually, paid quarterly.
