Minimum 1+ years Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience and CNA certificate required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A unique opportunity is available for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), or Medical Assistant to provide individualized academic and personal care support to a middle school student in a life skills program. This contract role is essential for enhancing both the educational and daily living experience for a student who requires attentive support, particularly with toileting plans and mobility/positioning throughout the school day.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:50 a.m. to 3:22 p.m.
- Role expected through June 2026
Key Qualifications:
- Active NH Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), or Medical Assistant credentials required
- Prior experience in a school, pediatric, or special education environment strongly preferred
- Familiarity with providing both academic support and personal care to individuals with unique needs
- Ability to implement care plans, including toileting and safe positioning
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and patience
- Must be comfortable working in a 1:1 capacity and collaborating with school staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver daily personal care assistance (toileting, hygiene, positioning) to one student in a middle school life skills classroom
- Support the student academically during instructional periods as directed by classroom staff
- Communicate observations and updates to teachers, nursing staff, and guardians as needed
- Maintain a respectful, supportive, and safe environment for the student
- Adhere to all health, privacy, and safety guidelines established by the school
