Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- At least 60 college credits or a valid Paraprofessional certification (certification may also be completed during the assignment)
- Previous experience working with students or in school settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Adaptable, patient, and committed to helping students of varying abilities succeed
- Reliable and punctual for consistent support throughout the school day
Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities, small group tasks, and individualized student support
- Help implement lesson plans and reinforce learning objectives
- Support students with special needs and those requiring additional encouragement
- Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment
- Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, and during lunch or recreation periods
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure the well-being and success of each student
- Document progress and communicate relevant observations to educators and school staff
Schedule details are straightforward, offering a stable and predictable workday from 8:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.
