We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Newport, VT. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients of all ages and backgrounds to help them achieve their maximum level of independence and function in daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities

- Develop individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and goals

- Implement treatment plans through various therapeutic activities and exercises

- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies for improving daily function and independence

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients

- Stay current with advancements and best practices in occupational therapy through continuing education and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

- State license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Vermont

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Flexibility to work weekends and rotate schedules as needed

- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform job duties, including lifting and moving patients and equipment
