Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring they meet all regulatory and environmental standards. This role requires a strong foundation in civil engineering principles with a focus on innovative design solutions and project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
- Conduct structural analysis and prepare detailed design documentation.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and other engineers to create comprehensive project plans.
- Ensure compliance with design standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform geotechnical analysis and assess soil mechanics for project viability.
- Oversee site development activities and provide technical support during construction phases.
- Assess environmental impacts and implement sustainable engineering practices.
- Prepare and review construction documentation and specifications.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and present project plans to clients and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
- Experience in site development and project management.
- Knowledge of environmental engineering principles and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with transportation engineering and water resources engineering.
- Strong understanding of structural analysis and soil mechanics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
