A leading Northern New England law firm is seeking an experienced Banking & Finance Attorney to join its thriving commercial finance practice based in Manchester, New Hampshire.

About the Opportunity
You will work alongside a highly respected transactional team representing commercial banks, financial institutions, private lenders, and borrowers in complex financing matters across New England.
The group is known for handling sophisticated, high-value lending and structured finance deals, while maintaining a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise lenders and borrowers on a wide range of commercial finance transactions
- Structure, negotiate, and close secured and unsecured lending deals
- Draft and review loan documentation, credit agreements, and collateral packages
- Handle matters related to:
- Asset-based lending and cash flow loans
- Real estate and construction financing
- Syndicated and participated loans
- Mezzanine/subordinated debt and structured finance
- Work directly with clients and opposing counsel with a high level of autonomy
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in banking, lending, and finance/transactional law
- Strong background in commercial lending and credit transactions
- Licensed in New Hampshire or Massachusetts (or ability to waive in)
- Ability to commute or reside within 30 minutes of Manchester, NH
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client management skills
- Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
