Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at the Rutland Center for Living and Rehabilitation, a premier residential, long-term, rehabilitation, and subacute care provider in Rutland, Vermont. As a Physical Therapist with our organization, you will play a vital role in revolutionizing care delivery by providing high-quality physical therapy services to our patients and residents.

About the Role

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients and residents

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments to identify areas of improvement

• Providing hands-on therapy sessions, education, and training to patients and residents

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient progress

• Participating in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and residents to identify physical therapy needs and goals

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve patient goals

• Provide hands-on therapy sessions, including but not limited to:

  • Exercise programs

  • Modalities (heat, cold, electrical stimulation, etc.)

  • Manual therapy

  • Education and training on daily living skills and self-care

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress

• Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

• Possession of a current PT license in the state of Vermont
