Job DescriptionProject Manager
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of construction projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls
- Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and engineers
- Monitor project progress, quality standards, and safety compliance
- Review and approve contracts, change orders, and payment applications
- Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactively
- Ensure documentation, reporting, and project closeout processes are completed accurately
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, and cost control
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines
- Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
- OSHA certification preferred
