Position Overview
The PACU Registered Nurse provides post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical and procedural anesthesia. The RN monitors patients for complications, manages pain control, airway stability, and hemodynamic status, and collaborates closely with anesthesia providers and surgical teams.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience
- Experience caring for patients on drips and ventilators
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
