Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist – General (Radiology)
Location: Hyannis, MA
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging for adult and pediatric patients using ultrasound technology. The role requires strong clinical skills, patient care expertise, and the ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up ultrasound equipment for diagnostic procedures
- Position patients and obtain optimal imaging results
- Select appropriate transducers and imaging techniques
- Review patient history and clinical data for accurate imaging support
- Perform ultrasound examinations and evaluate image quality
- Assist physicians with procedures such as biopsies
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and clear communication
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
- Follow hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
- ARDMS Certification (Required)
- Registered in Abdomen and OB/GYN imaging (ARDMS)
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong communication skills and patient care ability
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hospital or high-volume imaging settings
- Ability to assist in interventional ultrasound procedures
- Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
