CR Machine is expanding capacity to support complex, precision turning work in stainless steel and high-temperature alloys. This role is critical to owning jobs end-to-end — from programming and setup through production and inspection — ensuring quality, efficiency, and repeatability.

The Work You’ll Be Doing\n
In this role, you will:
\n
- \n
- Program, set up, and operate multi-axis CNC lathes
- Take parts from raw material to finished product independently
- Read and interpret customer drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Determine machining strategy including speeds, feeds, tolerances, and operation sequence
- Make complete setups, run trial cuts, and dial in programs
- Perform light hand-finishing and secondary operations as needed
- Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize processes for quality and efficiency
- Collaborate with other machinists, supervisors, and quality personnel

- Machines: Miyano, Doosan, Smart CNC lathes; Kitamura & Brother CNC mills
- Controls: Fanuc-style controls (varies by machine)
- CAM Software: Fusion360 (preferred), Mastercam
- Inspection Tools: Micrometers, calipers, surface gages, dial indicators, profilometer, CMM, vision systems

What We’re Looking For\n
Required

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong experience setting up and running CNC lathes
- Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances & GD&T
- Proficiency with precision inspection tools
- Solid understanding of shop math and trigonometry
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-minded

Preferred (Not Required)

- 5+ years of CNC machining and programming experience
- Experience programming with Fusion360 or Mastercam
- Familiarity with Miyano, Doosan, Smart, Kitamura, or Brother machines
