Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide specialized support in an elementary school setting. This contract position begins ASAP and continues through June 2026, offering a consistent schedule of 30+ hours per week, Monday through Friday. The focus is on delivering effective speech therapy services to elementary-aged students, including those utilizing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Utilize AAC strategies and tools to support nonverbal or minimally verbal students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to enhance student communication skills
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
Qualifications:
- Current Massachusetts licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Proven experience working with elementary-aged children
- Expertise in AAC methods and technology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
