Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Vermont
• Experience with school-based or pediatric OT services preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt and create tailored interventions for diverse student needs
• Commitment to fostering student independence and participation in daily school activities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students within the educational environment
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, both one-on-one and in groups
• Collaborate with educational teams to support IEP development and implementation
• Keep accurate records and document student progress toward therapeutic goals
• Provide resources and training to educators and family members regarding strategies for classroom success
• Support students’ functional skills, sensory processing, fine motor development, and adaptive techniques for school participation
