Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT) – Inpatient Rehabilitation
Location: Hyannis, MA
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat inpatient adult and pediatric patients. The role focuses on restoring mobility, improving function, and supporting recovery through individualized, evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and establish treatment goals
- Develop and implement individualized therapy programs
- Perform diagnostic testing of functional abilities
- Deliver and modify treatment plans based on progress
- Document patient care and communicate with care teams
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs
- Supervise PTAs, aides, and students as needed
- Support quality improvement and safety initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy License
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong clinical evaluation and treatment skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Clinical Specialist Certification (for advanced role level)
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings
- Strong documentation and patient education skills
