Bring your expertise in special education to make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students in a supportive school community. This full-time contract opportunity offers you the chance to work onsite with a manageable caseload of 15 or fewer students, focusing on providing direct instruction, IEP support, and collaborative teamwork with educational staff. There are two roles available, both starting as soon as possible, with onsite hours running Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Occasionally, after-school meetings will occur—but always scheduled in advance for your convenience. With a positive environment and potential for continued placement into the next school year, this is an excellent opportunity to make an impact.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification (required)
  • Prior experience working in an elementary school setting preferred
  • Thorough understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
  • Strong skills in differentiated instruction and evidence-based interventions
  • Solid communication abilities for collaboration with staff, families, and related service providers
  • Proficiency in documentation and progress monitoring using various tools
  • Flexibility and positivity in a dynamic, student-centered environment

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized academic instruction to elementary students on your caseload
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and paraprofessionals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
  • Deliver engaging lessons tailored to a variety of learning needs and styles
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and compliance documentation
  • Contribute to a supportive and welcoming classroom culture

If you’re ready to inspire and support young learners while working alongside caring professionals, you’re encouraged to apply today. Take the next step in your special education career and make a real difference!
