Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This role focuses on delivering patient-centered, high-quality MRI imaging services while maintaining strict safety protocols. The position involves producing clear diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety through careful pre-screening and aseptic techniques, and maintaining effective communication with radiologists and healthcare team members. Additionally, experienced professionals may have the opportunity to train new technologists and patient coordinators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safeguard patient safety by conducting thorough pre-screening for MRI contraindications and practicing aseptic injection techniques.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic MRI images using Philips Ingenia equipment.
- Maintain imaging unit cleanliness, order necessary supplies, and assist with daily unit preparation including patient transport.
- Communicate effectively with radiologists and healthcare customers to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
- Train and support new MRI technologists and patient coordinators as needed.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- ARRT (MR) certification required; ARMRIT acceptable per contract terms.
- Active state MRI license applicable to the location.
- CPR (AHA BLS) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED minimum; Associates degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years MRI experience, preferably with Philips Ingenia equipment.
- Valid drivers license as local travel may be required.
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster required.
