About This Role
We are currently seeking a part-time childcare professional to work with children ages 13 months to 3 years. Applicant must be able to work between the hours of 2:30 to 5:30 Monday through Friday and have some experience working with young children. This position could also include subbing as needed. This position reports to the Infant and Toddler Program Coordinator.
What You'll Do
- Actively engage with children ages 13 months to 3 years
- Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
- Help provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
- Help ensure smooth, end of the day transition.
- Strong communication skills.
- Follow all center policies and state regulations.
- Maintain 12 hours of Professional Development yearly.
- Closing down the Toddler program at the end of the day
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of professional child care experience.
- ECE credits preferred with a minimum of 3 credits in Child Growth and Development.
- High energy.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must clear full background check.
- Strong work ethic.
- Must be 18 or older.
