Now Hiring – Building Maintenance Technician / Handyman
Winchendon, MA
Pay: $19-$21 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
We are currently seeking a dependable and skilled Building Maintenance Technician with strong handyman abilities to join our team in Winchendon, MA. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, and has experience with general maintenance and repair tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general building maintenance and repair work (interior and exterior)
• Complete light carpentry tasks including drywall repair, trim work, door/frame adjustments, and minor structural repairs
• Handle basic plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance needs
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and up to company standards
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding repairs, materials, and project updates
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, Handyman, or similar role required
• Strong light carpentry and general repair skills
• Basic plumbing knowledge preferred
• Must have reliable transportation and own vehicle
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
