Step into an engaging contract opportunity as a full-time Physical Therapist supporting K-12 students for the upcoming school year. This dynamic position, based near Leominster, MA, runs from August through December 2026 with potential for renewal. Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Massachusetts
- Prior experience with pediatric or K-12 populations, either in schools or outpatient settings
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans for students with diverse needs
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based documentation preferred
- Open to new graduates with clinical experience in pediatric physical therapy or related internships
- Must be organized, adaptable, and able to travel between sites if needed
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment goals, and deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and other providers to maximize student access and participation
- Provide training and resources for families and staff on mobility, adaptive equipment, and safe physical management
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the IEP process, progress reports, and ongoing evaluations
- Support a positive, inclusive educational environment for students of all abilities
