Job Description

Job DescriptionYou will join a fast-paced, AS9100-certified aerospace manufacturing company producing complex aircraft engine components for leading OEMs and the DoD. You will work directly with senior engineering and operations leadership to drive manufacturability, quality, and throughput across precision-machined parts ranging from 4" to 40" diameter.

What You Will Do

You take ownership of engineering workflows that move product from print to production. You will:

  • Interpret complex aerospace drawings, and specs.
  • Build accurate 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing plans using SolidWorks.
  • Program CNC machining operations using SolidCAM within an AS9100 environment.
  • Collaborate with machinists, quality, and production to streamline setups and reduce cycle time.
  • Support process development for new part introductions (NPI).
  • Assist with tooling design, workholding, and fixture concepts for multi-axis machining.
  • Partner with quality engineering to address non-conformances, root-cause analysis, and corrective action.
  • Contribute to continuous-improvement and automation initiatives, including cobots, advanced machining, and lights-out operations.

What You Bring

You thrive in a shop that values precision, speed, and accountability. You bring:

  • 3+ years of engineering experience in aerospace, defense, turbine/engine components, or related precision manufacturing.
  • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and SolidCAM.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex aerospace drawings, geometric tolerancing (GD&T), and specifications.
  • Experience designing tooling, fixtures, and machining processes.
  • Strong understanding of machining fundamentals: speeds/feeds, cutters, setups, and multi-axis work.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with machinists and management.

Nice to Have (Not Required):

  • Experience in the weld or weld-overlay industry, especially related to aerospace alloys, honeycomb, or turbine component repair.

Why Join Us

You join a company with more than 60 years of turbine-component manufacturing expertise and a modern, forward-leaning mindset. We are actively investing in automation and advanced machining, supported by long-term partnerships with the DoD and major OEMs. We continue to invest in our equipment, our people, and a disciplined, high-performance culture.

  • Competitive pay and benefits
  • Growth opportunities as we expand capabilities and automation
  • Work with state-of-the-art CNC, metrology, and programming systems
  • A leadership team that values engineers who think, act, and innovate
