Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers an engaging opportunity to provide dedicated 1:1 care and support as a paraprofessional within a school setting. Located in Westfield, MA, the role is contract-based and focused on assisting students requiring individualized attention to enhance their learning experience and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one support to students, fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
• Assist with classroom activities and adapt materials to meet the specific needs of students.
• Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and behavior, reporting observations to educators and specialists.
• Support social and emotional development through positive interactions and encouragement.

Qualifications:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional in schools, especially providing one-on-one care.
• Ability to adapt to various student needs and learning styles with patience and professionalism.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with school staff.
• Commitment to supporting student growth and maintaining confidentiality.
• Relevant certifications or training in education support or special education preferred.
