Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An educational opportunity is available for Special Education Teachers to support students across multiple grade levels, from Pre-K through high school, in a dynamic K-12 school setting. This full-time contract position offers up to 10 openings and is designed for the current school year.
Location: Rochester, NH
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Duration: Current School Year (CSY) contract
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students with special education requirements.
- Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of educational performance.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment to promote student engagement and development.
- municate effectively with parents, staff, and external resources to ensure prehensive student support.
Qualifications:
- NH Special Education Certification is required.
- Early Childhood Certification required for Pre-K positions.
- Candidates holding certifications from other states who are eligible for NH certification will be considered.
- Experience working with special education students across multiple grade levels preferred.
- Strong mitment to student growth and individualized learning approaches.
