Location: Massachusetts (North Reading, Kingston, or potential sublease location)

We're seeking a personable and organized Psychometrist to join our team, someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and can connect with clients aged 5 to 95.

Job Description:

The Psychometrist is a vital part of our team, conducting psychological assessments, scoring tests, and ensuring a seamless client experience. Youll work directly with clients, often testing for 45 hours daily, and must possess strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and manage challenging situations professionally.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Interaction:
    • Conduct telehealth intake appointments to introduce yourself, review questions, and collect any payments due.
    • Establish and maintain rapport with clients across a wide age range (595 years).
    • De-escalate situations when necessary with professionalism and composure.
  • Testing and Assessment:
    • Administer psychological tests in-office for long periods (45 hours/day).
    • Prepare and organize testing batteries at least a week in advance.
    • Send out screeners and pre-appointment materials to clients in advance.
    • Score and review assessments with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Organization and Planning:
    • Stay on top of testing schedules, documentation, and deadlines.
    • Collaborate with the team to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Flexibility and Creativity:
    • Think on your feet and adapt to client needs during testing.
    • Be creative in managing client engagement throughout long testing sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field (preferred).
  • Prior experience in therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or psychological testing is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with clients of all ages.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations and de-escalate them effectively.
  • Proficiency in telehealth platforms and technology.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to commute to either our North Reading or Kingston, MA, office.
  • Willingness to explore subleasing options closer to your location if far from our main offices.
