Position Overview
The Fire Alarm Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems. This role requires a thorough understanding of fire alarm technologies and codes to ensure safety and compliance in various environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain fire alarm systems in commercial and residential properties.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Diagnose and repair faults in fire alarm equipment and systems.
- Work with clients to assess their fire safety needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant fire safety codes and regulations during installations and repairs.
Qualifications
- NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems is highly desirable
- Appropriate certificates of fitness to inspect systems
- Experience in servicing and installing fire alarm systems.
- Strong understanding of fire safety codes and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
