Travel Physical Therapist - Home Health (Days)
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist - Home Health for a 13-week travel assignment in Pittsfield, MA.
Contract Details
- Days, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8hr days 40hr guarantee
- Start Date: 5/18/2026
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Location: Pittsfield, MA
- Hourly Pay: $ 33.50
- Non-taxed Stipend: $1,246.00
- Weekly Total Pay: $2,251.00
- Weekend Requirements: Rotating Weekends/Holiday Coverage Required if needed
- Traveler Policy: WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY TRAVELER WHO RESIDES WITHIN 50 MILES OF FACILITY. To avoid delays in processing, please include perm address in profile upload.
- 8hrs non-billable orientation
** Requested time off during this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
** THIS IS A HOME HEALTH NEED!
** Any/All RTO must be included in profile. ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION. Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer. Please obtain this information before submittal. Requests after offer may lead to rescinded offer
The physical therapist is responsible for providing physical therapy services to clients of the agency. The primary function is the provision of direct patient care, including collaboration with other team members and participation in the development of the patient’s comprehensive plan of care.
Rehabilitation equipment including but not limited to:
- splints,
- orthoses
- prostheses,
- wheelchairs,
- ADL equipment
- Modalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms and review their medical history and referrals from doctors or surgeons
- Diagnose movement dysfunction by listening to patients and observing them as they move about
- Develop an individualized treatment plan
- Coach patients and teach them therapeutic exercises and stretches to improve their condition
- Use hands-on therapy such as massage to ease patients’ pain and provide stimulation to promote healing
- Maintain patient records by tracking goals and progress while adapting treatment plans accordingly
- Advise patients and their families on in-home treatment options and what to expect from the recovery process
Compensation:
- Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- 2+ acute nursing care (hospital base) and Home Care experience is required
- Valid Driver License required for this need is required
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision/assistance
- Acute care experience is required
- Certified home health experience including proficiency with OASIS required and NON-NEGOTIABLE is required
- Traveler perm address must be included in profile
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
