Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Familiarity with best practices in educational and psychological assessments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork
- Experience developing and implementing student intervention plans
- Commitment to cultural competence and inclusivity
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students as needed
- Interpret testing data and share insights with educational and family teams
- Support and participate in IEP/504 meetings and the special education process
- Deliver counseling and intervention services individually and in groups
- Provide crisis intervention and consult with staff regarding student concerns
- Collaborate in developing strategies to enhance students’ social and emotional success
- Document and maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with regulations
