Location: Boston, MA or New York, NY. Hybrid, with 2 to 3 days onsite

Pay rate: $98.00 - $102.6 hourly on w2

JOB SUMMARY

Join an innovative team at the forefront of private credit fund launches as a Consultant specializing in Private Credit Operations. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your deep expertise to shape operational strategies, streamline processes, and ensure successful fund launch readiness. Your insights will directly influence the efficiency and compliance of complex credit funds, making a meaningful impact within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Required Skills:

\n

    \n
  • 10+ years of experience in private credit operations, loan operations, fund operations, or fund administration at asset managers, alternative investment firms, or insurance investment arms.
  • \n

  • Extensive knowledge of the private credit loan lifecycle, including revolving and delayed draw facilities.
  • \n

  • Proven experience working with third-party fund administrators, establishing oversight models, and producing operational procedures and SLAs.
  • \n

  • Strong collaboration skills within matrix organizations, with the ability to communicate risks and stakeholder perspectives effectively.
  • \n

  • Ability to operate strategically and tactically, moving multiple workstreams forward independently.
  • \n

Nice to Have Skills:

\n

    \n
  • Hands-on experience with rated note fund or rated note feeder structures, including compliance, waterfalls, and reporting.
  • \n

  • Familiarity with rating agency reporting standards and data requirements.
  • \n

  • Experience with loan administration systems and multi-system infrastructure.
  • \n

  • Knowledge of private credit structures like direct lending, syndicated loans, and mezzanine debt.
  • \n

  • Experience with platforms like WSO, eFront, Allvue.
  • \n

  • Familiarity with restructures, workouts, distressed exchanges, and AI tools for process analysis.
  • \n

Preferred Education and Experience:

\n

  • Demonstrated success in fund launch scenarios with critical readiness gates.
  • \n

  • Prior involvement in private credit fund operations, especially in roles supporting project launch activities.
  • \n

  • Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are a plus.
  • \n
