Job Title: Travel Physical Therapist – Acute Care
Location: Milford, Massachusetts
Rate: Up to $2,800 Gross Weekly + benefits available from day 1
Shift: Days, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00a–4:30p
Contract: 13 weeks | Start date 9/28/2026 or 10/12/2026
Hours: 40 hours/week
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience</li>
<li>Acute care hospital experience required</li>
<li>Active Massachusetts PT license</li>
<li>Local and travel candidates accepted</li>
<li>Experience working with adult and geriatric patients</li>
<li>Experience with acute care patients in Orthopedics, ICU, Oncology, and Neurology</li>
<li>Epic experience preferred</li>
</ul>
Certifications: BLS
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care</li>
<li>Provide physical therapy treatment to acute care patients</li>
<li>Perform assessments, reassessments, and functional mobility evaluations</li>
<li>Provide gait training and assist with safe transfers and mobility</li>
<li>Develop and document short- and long-term goals</li>
<li>Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust plans of care as needed</li>
<li>Provide patient and family education</li>
<li>Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation</li>
<li>Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient recovery and safe discharge</li>
