Qualifications:

Current unencumbered State of Vermont CNA License

Strong communication skills to communicate with Residents, Nurse(s), and Staff

Ability to read, write, and speak the English Language

Critical thinking skills

The ability to handle different situations with tact
Responsibilities:

Provides for ADL's by assisting with serving meals and feeding patients as necessary, ambulating, turning, and positioning patients

Administration of physical care, including baths, hair care, oral care, back care, elimination care, etc.

Admission, discharge, and transfer of patients

Measure and record vital signs, weight, intake, and output information
-
Perform routine perineal area and incontinence care

Observe and report any changes in patient's general condition

Maintain a neat and safe patient environment

Complete documentation daily and accurately on required forms

Flexibility in accepting different assignments
