We're hiring a motivated, people-first General Manager to lead daily operations at Retro Fitness Cambridge. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who loves building strong teams, driving results, and creating a high-energy member experience. You'll oversee club operations, coach and develop staff, and set the tone for a positive, performance-driven culture-while making Retro Fitness Cambridge a place members are excited to show up to every day.
What You'll Do

Lead day-to-day club operations and serve as Manager-on-Duty

Hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team

Drive revenue across membership, personal training, and retail

Maintain standards for cleanliness, safety, and facility upkeep

Manage schedules, payroll, expenses, and inventory

Resolve member concerns professionally and efficiently

Ensure compliance with health, labor, and safety regulations

Coach sales and training teams to achieve performance goals
What We're Looking For

2+ years of management experience

3+ years in fitness, hospitality, or a high-volume service environment (or bachelor's degree)

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Sales-driven mindset with financial awareness

Comfortable with POS systems and Google Suite

CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)

Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
