Seeking a Maintenance Manager for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Worcester County, MA.
This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k!
Salary is between $90,000 - $100,000 per year (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Support hiring, training, and scheduling of maintenance staff.
- Oversee daily work, performance, and corrective actions.
- Lead, train, and mentor maintenance teams, including supervisors, mechanics, and technicians.
- Use CMMS to manage work orders, schedules, budgets, and maintenance records.
- Develop and track preventative/predictive maintenance programs.
- Coordinate with production to align maintenance with schedules and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean and reliability practices.
- Manage department budget, vendor relationships, and spare parts inventory.
- Ensure safety compliance with OSHA and company policies.
- Monitor KPIs and report on equipment performance, costs, and safety.
- Remain on-call for after-hours plant issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/industrial technology or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of maintenance management.
- Strong technical knowledge of automation, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, CMMS, and interpreting technical manuals/blueprints.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to inspect facilities, perform repairs, and navigate job sites.
- Capable of standing, climbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working near heat, noise, gas, and chemicals.
