Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Scituate, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract role, you will provide comprehensive technical support to end users, ensuring seamless hardware and software functionality. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and resolving technical issues efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain onsite IT assets, including imaging, deployment, and repair of devices.
• Provide software support and assist with mobile device management and peripheral setup.
• Deliver hands-on network support as needed to address connectivity and infrastructure issues.
• Perform hardware troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on laptops and Chromebooks.
• Collaborate with users to resolve technical problems and keep management informed of progress.
• Administer user accounts, including setting permissions, managing security settings, and configuring group access.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, tracing problems back to switches.
• Safely lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds while navigating buildings and production areas.
• Address incoming technical support tickets, resolving equipment and connectivity challenges promptly.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in desktop or deskside support roles.
• Strong knowledge of IT services and products, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with PC imaging, deployment, and Chromebook enrollment.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to multitask effectively while managing client expectations and relationships.
• Familiarity with Active Directory for user account management.
• Proficiency in working with Windows 10 and desktop hardware.
• Positive attitude and the ability to remain motivated in a dynamic environment.
