Our client, a highly respected financial institution located in South Burlington, is looking for a Shift Supervisor to help support our data entry employees working for their Lockbox team! Prior data entry experience is a plus, but not required. You would assist in managing a team that verifies information on payments and accompanying documents and ensures accurate input of customer details. You would be trained on their Data Entry system - both in order to better support the team members you supervise, and to be able to use any downtime (when applicable) to assist with the keying workload.

Mondays-Fridays at 11:00am-7:30pm

Pay Rate:
\n
$23.80 - $26.18 per hour
\n
\n
Target Start Date: ASAP (following interviewing and client clearance process)
\n
This is an onsite, open-ended long-term temporary role.

Shift Supervisor - Responsibilities:
\n
- \n
- Managing team members of front line data entry employees
- Providing routine performance updates to department personnel and adjusting check-in frequency, when appropriate.
- Partnering with Team Leaders and Skills Coaches in improvement plans for department team members, when necessary
- Effectively utilizing teamwork and leadership behaviors to create a highly engaged environment
- Ensuring that all customer and bank guidelines, policies, and procedures are followed as they relate to operations, internal audit and security, and general management practices
- Scheduling feedback and counseling with associates to ensure optimal performance
- Managing employee calendars of time-off requests, schedule changes, and more.
- Pitching in with data entry workload during downtime (when applicable)

Shift Supervisor - Requirements:
\n
- \n
- Minimum 1 year leadership experience
- Relevant work experience or bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior Data Entry experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to assist and be visible to staff and direct reports
- Ability to adapt and handle change effectively
- Ability to coordinate and organize work while meeting and handling multiple deadline driven processes.
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task and balance numerous activities simultaneously
- Functional experience with MS Office, including Outlook and Excel, is preferred, but not required
- Good decision-making skills as well as exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Effectively interact with all diverse groups within the organization
- Display core leadership abilities: strong planning/organization, motivation, problem solving/conflict resolution, team building, and interpersonal skills are essential
- Ability to stand, sit still, and walk for long periods of time
