Qualifications:
- Possess a valid Paraprofessional Certification or an Associate’s degree
- Prior experience supporting students with intellectual disabilities or autism is highly preferred
- Ability to connect with and motivate elementary-aged children
- Demonstrated reliability, patience, and strong communication skills
- Willingness to complete the contract from ASAP through 6/12/26
Key Responsibilities:
- Work exclusively with one elementary student to provide academic, social, and behavioral support throughout the school day
- Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to reinforce learning or behavioral strategies
- Document progress and assist in adapting classroom materials or instructional methods
- Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere to help the student achieve their educational goals
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all school policies and procedures
