At Precision Excavation, we specialize in high-end residential and commercial landscape construction, with a strong focus on masonry work such as patios, retaining walls, fire features, outdoor kitchens, and stonework. We are currently seeking a motivated Landscape Masonry Foreman who may have some hands-on experience and is ready to take the next step in leadership. This is a great opportunity for a skilled mason or hardscape installer who is looking to grow into a foreman role or sharpen their supervisory skills.
Responsibilities:

Assist in leading a crew of 1–3 team members on masonry-focused landscape construction projects

Read and interpret landscape and construction plans, grades, and layouts

Perform and supervise tasks such as:

Building retaining walls, patios, walkways, steps, fireplaces, and other stone or paver features

Mixing and applying mortar or concrete

Setting grades and base prep for stone or paver installations

Ensure job sites are clean, safe, and organized at all times

Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients

Monitor materials and equipment use, ensuring efficiency and minimal waste

Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail

Train and mentor laborers and junior crew members
Qualifications:
-
1-3 years of hands-on masonry or hardscape experience preferred
-
Willingness to lead and supervise a small crew (prior leadership experience is a plus but not required)

Ability to read basic blueprints and layout plans (willing to train the right candidate)

Strong understanding of grading, drainage, and base compaction
-
Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and work in all weather conditions

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (CDL is a plus)

DOT Medical Card and Hydraulic License required

Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude
