If yes, we invite you to apply for our part-time dining aide position at St. Joseph's Residential Care Home. The position is from 4pm – 7pm. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and a willingness to promote the vision, mission, and values of the Home to ensure a friendly, home-like environment for all our residents.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities of the Dining Aide
- Serve meals in a timely, friendly, and respectful manner
- Ensure dining areas are clean, organized, and meet sanitation standards
- Wash dishes, clean kitchen equipment, and maintain a hygienic work environment
- Follow all food safety guidelines and facility protocols
Qualifications for Dining Aide
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in food service, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Ability to work well as part of a team
